Shadeda
Radio host, DJ and hifi party-thrower, Shadeda, has intertwined himself with Manchester’s music scene over the last 5 years. His hifi party ‘Elody’, is an embodiment of his personal desires for fostering social value through art, music and club culture. Through his explorative and educational approach to radio, Shadeda has deep dived into a spectrum of musical sub-cultures and genres, drawing on them to shape his own signature sound and ethos. From Afro-Latin Jazz to Nuyorican Soul to Salsa to Loft Culture to Chicago Deep House to UK Jazz Dance. From West London’s Broken Beat to Manchester’s Northern Soul, Acid, Gospel, House and the many roots in between. If it’s soulful, dancer-driven, and elicits a feeling, Shadeda may take you there. He believes in challenging perceptions of what ‘club music’ can be and the precious catharsis that dancing in the club can bring. Expect selections enveloped with intention, wide and choosy, deep and beautiful. Music that moves you in more ways than one.
