Hailing from the Philippines and now based in Manchester, PABLÓ has been taking the scene by storm. Best categorised as a soul/jazz/hip-hop/electronic vocalist and multi-genre dj/performer, the woman really knows how to treat a crowd. She showcases an array of Disco/Soul, Hip-Hop, Latin Funk and flips you on your back with 140, Breakbeat, Grime, Footwork, Jungle, Hardcore and Drum and Bass. Supporting the likes of Dub Phizix, Workforce, Daseplate, Dwarde, Soul Mass Transit System, Sir Hiss, Sophia Violet, Napes, Hypho, Strategy, Nectax, Skeptic, Bullet Tooth and Spooky Bizzle. PABLÓ has recently been booked to perform at this year’s Warehouse Project Opening; Repercussion. PABLÓ takes to the scene like a duck to water, having been musically oriented from the age of 12, immersing deeply into old-school hip-hop, reggae, soul and jazz, teaching herself to play the guitar as the perfect accompaniment to her raw and soulful vocal ability; she is also featuring on a tune, soon to be released on V Recordings this year alongside an EP in the works.
