
Magic EKJ
Magic EKJ or just "Maj" is a DJ, MC and Vocalist from London, UK and Georgetown, Guyana. A seasoned MC and crowd worker, Maj first honed his skills at the famous Biggafish sound system in Notting Hill Carnival at age 19. Playing usually Soca, Amapiano or Jungle, his live performances create ecstatic crowds out of both newbies and purists. As part of his movement - AfroXh'ero - he was the first african music act to headline the London Jazz Festival in 2024. Maj hosts, spins and produces for “DIASPORAHHH” a workshop, club night and radio show focusing on dance music from african and global majority artists based in Manchester and the North West. DIASPORAHHH has featured in the Pan African Congress 50th anniversary: See My World 2025 and featured artists such as: Dje Bynghi Xhulu, Amahle, DailysHaus, Purple Collective, DJ Respect Afrika, Chande, Malandro and many more artist's Crop Radio debuts.
