Haaji Ka Halva is known for her high energy live performances and her experimental approach to mixing. Armed with MIDI launchpads instead of decks, she creates a melting pot of diasporic sounds by sampling anything from South Asian vocal melodies to reggae classics and R&B hooks over heavy old-school jungle, jungle techno, darkside, breakbeat hardcore and happy hardcore. Channeling the spirit of 90’s rave culture through sampling, Haaji Ka Halva’s sets are fast, cheeky and uplifting.
