Since days gone by, we have found pride in our stories. We build our cultures and our collective mythologies upon them. From our deep past stretching up to modernity's digital genesis. We propel these ideas to great pinnacles, sometimes leading to beauty, sometimes to tragedy. Art is a boundary between these myths, these stories and the worlds that incubate them. A place where abstraction and perceived reality simultaneously connect and contrast. A place of love and death. Digita Ngeche is a home for these things, an exploratory ship if you may, a vessel for mapping origins, hardships and revelation in the post-information age. ‘Ngeche’ means ‘Parables’ in Dholuo, the language of the Luo people of Lake Sango. Digita is an abundant river valley, a paradise world in some far flung corner of the galactic edge where these Parables can exist together, harmoniously, in all their glorious formats.
