Fresh on the scene and taking over faster than a virus; Awedinary has some seriously sick music in her collection. From ethereal movers to sporadic swampy basslines blended with unsuspecting genres from doom to trap metal and hip hop; she has her audience in awe of her eclectic selections of bass-heavy heat. If Awedinary is on buttons, it's (probably) going to get a bit evil with a touch of whimsy. Having graced Manchester's most iconic dancefloors from The White Hotel to The DBA and from our home at Stage & Radio to Old Abbey Taphouse, her sets have quickly become renowned for their versatility and ability to connect with different crowds while remaining unmistakably Awedinary. Awedinary's Crop residency will see her take her sound to uncharted territory with some very exciting collaborations already confirmed; featuring UK artists she's been inspired by; each bringing their own gorgeously refined style. Away from the decks, she is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of Pretty Disturbed which she now co-owns with the iconic Aeon Fux. Pretty Disturbed is a collective which celebrates all things dark and beautiful with women and queer people at the centre; prioritising their freedom of expression in whatever form that comes in; from fine art to sound and from performance art to dance disciplines. PD is like no other exhibition of talent.
